שלום לקוראים הנהדרים שלי! בדצמבר התחלתי לפרסם בבלוג פוסטים על אופנה ישראלית, מעצבים ובלוגרים.

- ספרי קצת על עצמך ?
אני בלוגרית בת 25 מגבעתיים
אני גם סטודנטית שנה א' לעיצוב גרפי ואיור בשנקר
אני אוהבת ליצור יש מאין, בכל מיני תחומים: בישול (גיליתי שאני בשלנית ממש טובה, כשעברתי לגור לבד והייתי צריכה לבשל לעצמי), ציור, שירה, תפירה - ובכל צורה אחרת לביטוי היצירתיות.
מוזיקה היא חלק גדול מאוד מחיי - בעיקר כצרכנית שלה, אבל גם כזמרת חובבת. זהיא אחד ממקורות ההשראה העיקריים שלי - באופנה ובעיצוב.
בשנה שעברה התחתנתי עם הבחור המקסים ביותר בעולם כולו - ג'סי - בן 24, ואנחנו ההורים הגאים לשתי בנות פרוותיות: לולה, החתולה המלכותית השמנמנה, וסווארלי, הכלבה המתוקה והמצחיקה ביקום.
- מתי ולמה החלטת ליצור את
לפני בערך שנתיים החלטתי להקים בלוג, אבל לא היה לי נושא כללי אחד שעניין אותי להציג בו, ואחרי כמה חודשים סגרתי אותו - אבל עדיין לא שכחתי מהרעיון להקים בלוג שיהיה במה שבה אני יכולה לשתף ולחלוק עם אנשים - דברים שמעניינים ומשמחים אותי.
בתור צרכנית אופנה, וגם בתור עובדת לשעבר בתעשיית האופנה, הייתי מתוסכלת מאוד מהעובדה שכמעט ואין דוגמניות במידות גדולות, וגם לא דוגמניות במידות ממוצעות - ותסכלה אותי גם העובדה שאני נחשבתי לבחורה "גדולה" ממרום המידה 42 שהייתי אז.
בתור מכורה לבלוגי-אופנה, שמתי לב ש-99% מהבלוגריות אף הן במידה 0 - וגם זו הייתה תגלית מתסכלת...
איך בנות שלא נכנסות למידות הקטנטנות יכולות לקבל השראה מלוקים שלאו דווקא מתאימים לגוף שלהן?
החלטתי לנצל את העובדה שיש לי חוש סטייל ושאני שופוהוליקית, לטובה: ולהראות לאותן בנות שאינן במידה 0 שהן יכולות להתלבש בצורה מחמיאה ויצירתית וגם ליהנות מזה
הרעיון התגלגל והקמתי את הבלוג לפני כמעט שנה וחצי - ומאז הוא הולך וגדל
- מה הסיפור מאחורי השם של הבלוג שלך?
אחד הספרים האהובים עליי הוא "יש ילדים זיגזג" מאת דויד גרוסמן. הספר מספר על ילד בן 13, שמרגיש שהוא לא ממש מתאים ומשתלב, והוא לא מבין למה; הוא לא "עיגול", והוא לא "מרובע" - הוא קצת זיגזג. במהלך הספר הילד הזה עובר מסע שורשים שבסופו הוא מבין שהוא לא חייב להיות שומדבר מלבד מה שהוא בוחר להיות.
אני עברתי כמה שינויים גדולים מאוד בחיי בשנים האחרונות, והחלטתי שהשם מתאים לבלוג שלי בול.
- מה עוד את עושה בנוסף לבלוג שלך?
אני סטודנטית שנה א' במחלקה לעיצוב גרפי ואיור בשנקר. לקח לי 5 שנים להחליט מה בדיוק אני רוצה ללמוד (התלבטתי בין עיצוב אופנה, עיצוב פנים, אדריכלות, ואפילו תזונה) ובמה אני מוכנה להשקיע 4 שנים ואת כל האנרגיות שלי. בינתיים אני ממש מרוצה מההחלטה שלי - הלימודים האלו מתאימים לי בדיוק!
הלימודים לא משאירים לי הרבה זמן פנוי, אז את הזמן המועט שיש לי אני משקיעה בבישול (אני מבשלת המון, וג'סי ואני אוהבים לארח חברים לארוחות), צפייה בסרטים (יחד עם ג'סי, כשסווארלי ישנה לי על הברכיים), ושופינג (בחלונות ראווה ובלי ביזבוזים - אני סטודנטית תפרנית בכ"ז)
הייתי שמחה לומר שאני עושה גם ספורט - אבל זה יהיה רחוק מהאמת...
- איפה את מוצאת את ההשראות לסטייל שלך ?
אני מקבלת השראה בכל מקום וכל הזמן: זה יכול להיות שיר ששמעתי, ושהכניס אותי למצברוח מסוים, סרט שצפיתי בו, יצירת אומנות שראיתי, אנשים שסביבי (בין אם הם האנשים שקרובים אליי, או אנשים ברחוב), וכמובן - בלוגים יצירתיים מכל הסוגים והמינים מהווים מקור השראה עבורי (אני מקווה שגם אני מצליחה להיות מקור השראה עבור אנשים אחרים)
- אילו פריטי לבוש היית מגדירה כחסרי זמן ?
פריטים קלאסיים שאפשר ללבוש לכל אירוע כמעט, ושאינם טרנדיים מדי או חשופים מאוד:
חולצה לבנה מכפותרת מבד רך, חצאית עיפרון עד הברך, שיושבת יפה על הקימורים, ג'ינס כחולים כהים בגזרה בינונית-גבוהה, נעלי סירה שחורות, נעלי עקב שחורות, טישירט מבד איכותי עם צווארון וי, ז'קט (דמוי) עור בגזרת אופנוענים.
אפשר לשלב את הפריטים האלו בהמון צורות יחד, וגם עם פריטים אחרים - ליצירת לוקים שיקיים ועל זמניים.
- איפה את הכי אוהבת לעשות
החנויות האהובות עליי הן טופשופ (במקום הראשון) וזארה (במקום השני). אני תמיד יכולה למצוא בהן המון פריטים (יותר מדי פריטים אפילו) שהייתי רוצה להיות הבעלים הגאה שלהם. אני אוהבת לקנות גם בבוטיק "לאקי נאמבר 2" - יש שם חולצות מקסימות ושמלות מתוקות ממש. בנוסף, אני חובבת וינטאג'; חנויות הוינטאג' האהובות עליי בת"א הן "מרילין אהובתי", ו"וינטג' סטור".
התחלתי לקנות בגדים באינטרנט - בעיקר באסוס; יש להם מבחר עצום של פריטים מסגנונות שונים ובטווח מידות ומחירים רחב מאוד, ויש להם סיילים כל הזמן. יש לי בכל רגע נתון כ-100 פריטים ברשימת ה"הלוואי ויהיו שלי" שם...
אני אוהבת לקנות גם באיביי, ובעיקר ב"אטסי" - מצאתי כמה חנויות ומוכרים מקסימים במיוחד באתר...
- אלו מוצרי טיפוח את לא יכולה לחיות בלעדיהם ?
אני משתמשת בקרם פנים מאוד קליל של גרנייה - הוא מעולה לעור שלי (יש לי עור מעורב) והופך אותו למשיי ונעים ממש
כמעט כל מוצרי האיפור שלי הם מ"מאק" - וכיוון שאני אוהבת להתאפר ולהתנסות עם לוקים חדשים, יש לי הרבה מוצרים באמתחתי...
המוצרים שאני לא יכולה בלעדיהם:
פרפ-פריים של מאק - המוצר הזה הוא קסם בבקבוק: הוא גורם לעור שלי להיות חלק, משיי וקורן, ככה שגם אם אין לי זמן לשים מייק אפ, העור שלי עדיין נראה מעולה
מסקרה - הריסים שלי קצרים, ישרים ובהירים - מה שאומר שכשאני שמה מסקרה ההבדל הוא עצום והעיניים מודגשות ממש.
סומק - אני בהירה מטבעי, אז אני חייבת לשים סומק (אני אוהבת ורדרדים) כדי לא להיטמע עם הקירות שמאחוריי...
באלם של הימלאיה - המוצר הזה מתפקד אצלי גם כתכשיר לחות לשפתיים וגם כליפ גלוס ונמצא אצלי בתיק כל הזמן
בושם בלאק אקסס - זה הבושם האהוב עליי כבר שנתיים ועדיין לא נגמלתי מההתמכרות אליו
- Tell us a bit about yourself
I'm a 25 year old blogger from Givatayim.
I'm also a graphic design and illustration student in Shenkar - I'm currently on my first year.
I love creating new things - whether through cooking (i found out i'm a pretty good cook, after I moved out of my parents' house and had to feed myself), illustrating, singing, sewing or through any other creative outlet.
Music is a huge part of my life - mainly as a consumer but also as an amateur singer - and it's one of my main inspirations for fashion and design.
I got married last year to the sweetest guy in the whole wide world - Jesse, 24, and we have two adorable pets: Lola, the fat majestic cat, and Swarley, the cutest and funniest dog ever.
- When and why did you decide to start a blog?
About two years ago I decided to create a blog, but it didn't really have a real theme, and after a few months I closed it down, but I still wasn't over the idea of having a platform on which I could share things that I love and make me happy.
As a fashion consumer, and also as a former worker in the fashion industry, i was very frustrated about the fact that there are almost no plus-size models, or even normal-size ones, and that I was considered "big" - although I was only a size 42 at the time.
As a fashion-blogs-addict, i noticed that 99% of the bloggers are also a size 0 - which was also a bit frustrating. how can girls who aren't petite get inspired by outfits that don't necessarily fit them?
I decided that since i have a good sense of style, and since I am a bit of a shopoholic, I could make something good of this situation - and show people that girls who aren't size 0 can dress well and enjoy it!
And so - almost a year and a half ago I opened thezigzaggirl, and it's been growing ever-since.
- What is the story behind your blog's title?
One of my favorite books is "the zig zag kid' by David Grossman. It's a book about a 13 years old boy, who doesn't feel that he fits in and doesn't know why - he is not "round", he is not "square" - he is a little bit zig zag. In the book he is going through a life-changing journey, and in the end of it - he realizes that he doesn't have to be anything but what he chooses to be.
I myself underwent a few major changes in the past few years, and I decided that the name fits my blog perfectly
- What do you do when you're not blogging?
I am a first year student of graphic design and illustration at the Shenkar college of engineering and design.
It took me 5 years to decide exactly what I want to study (I also thought of fashion design, interior design, architecture and even nutrition) and realize that i am really ready to spend four years and all the time and energy in these studies - and so far, it seems like it's the perfect fit for me.
It doesn't leave me a lot of spare time, but when I have time, I cook a lot (and we love to entertain friends for dinners), I watch a lot of movies - especially with Jesse (and with swarley in my lap), and I (window) shop a lot (I am a broke student after all).
I would like to say I'm also being active, but that wouldn't be entirely true..
- Where do you find your fashion inspiration?
I get my style inspirations everywhere and all the time: it could be a song i'm listening to, which gets me in a specific mood, a movie I watched, an art piece I saw, and of course - the people around me - those closest to me and even people in the street. Creative blogs of all kinds are also a great source of inspiration (hopefully I am a source of inspirations for others, too)
- What clothing items would you say is timeless?
Classic items that can be worn to every occasion, and that are not too trendy and not too revealing:
A soft white button-down blouse, a curve-hugging knee length pencil skirt, medium-high waisted jeans in dark blue, black flats, black pumps, a high-quality plain tee with a v-neck, a black motorcyclist leather (or faux leather) jacket.
All of which can be worn together or be combined with basically any other item to create a classy and chic look.
- What are your favorite places to shop?
My favorite stores are Topshop (first place) and Zara (the runner up). I can almost always find many (too many :) ) things I want to buy in both of them. I love shopping in lucky no.2 - they always have the sweetest blouses and dresses. I also love vintage shops; in Tel Aviv I love marilyn-my-love, and the vintage store.
I started shopping online - mainly at asos - they have such a wide variety of styles and sizes, and they have sales all the time - I currently have about 100 items on my wish list there...
I also like shopping on ebay, and especially on etsy - I found a few amazing etsy shops recently...
- What beauty product can you not live without?
I use a very light moisturizer by Garnier - which is perfect for my skin (my skin is slightly oily) and feels super silky
Almost all of my make up products are by mac cosmetics - and since i love using make up and trying new styles - I have quite a few of their products. But the things I really can't leave home without are:
Their prep-prime - which is magic in a bottle: it makes my skin feel silky smooth and radient, so even if I don't have time to put foundation, it still makes my skin look great.
Mascara - I have straight, short lashes pale lashes, so it makes a huge difference when i have mascara on.
Blush - I don't really get tanned, so I need a bit of a pinkish touch in order to not look washed out.
Himalaya lip balm - it doubles as both a lip moisturizer and as a lip gloss for me, and I carry it with me everywhere,
Back XS eau de parfum - I've been wearing this parfume for about 2 years now, and I'm still absolutely addicted to the smell.
