Blogger Interview: Avital from LiliLoft

Hi my wonderful readers ! Lately, a lot of you asked me to talk more about israeli fashion, designers and bloggers. I’m really happy that my blog can help people to know more about fashion in Israel, and get them to love it as much as I do.

Last week, Tel Aviv was hosting its first Fashion week in 30 years, and I think it was the perfect timing to start my ‘Monday Interviews’.

Every two weeks from now on, and every Monday in the near future, I will publish a post or interview about a blogger or designer I love! 

Feel free to tell me your thoughts about it, or to let me know about someone you would like to know more about !

Today we start with a blogger and friend, the lovely Avital. She shares her inspirations with a really personal and delicate point of view on her blog LiliLoft.

שלום לקוראי הנפלאים! לאחרונה ביקשתם שאדבר יותר על אופנה ישראלית, מעצבים ובלוגרים ישראלים. אני שמחה שהבלוג שלי יכול לעזור לאנשים להכיר יותר על האופנה הישראלית ולאפשר להם לאהוב אותה כמו שאני אוהבת.

בשבוע שעבר, תל אביב אירחה את שבוע האופנה הראשון מזה 30 שנה ואני חושבת שזאת ההזדמנות המושלמת להתחיל את "ימי שני של ראיונות". 

בעתיד הקרוב, פעם בשבועיים בימי שני אני אפרסם כתבה או ראיון על בלוגרית או מעצב/ת שאני אוהבת!

תרגישו חופשיים לספר לי מה אתם חושבים על זה או לספר לי על מישהו או מישהי שהייתם רוצים לדעת יותר עליו או עליה!

- ספרי קצת על עצמך 

למעשה אני חנונית מחשבים שאוהבת להתלבש, בחורה שגרה בעיר אבל אוהבת טבע, עם המון תשוקה, משתדלת ליהנות מהדברים הפשוטים בחיים ומחפשת את היופי והערך המוסף בכל דבר. 

- מתי ולמה החלטת ליצור את הבלוג?

פתחתי את הבלוג לפני שנה ושמונה חודשים, חיפשתי לעצמי תחביב קריאטיבי שבו אני יכולה לתעל את היצירתיות שלי שעד אז לא באה לידי ביטוי כל כך. 

שנה לפני שפתחתי את הבלוג נחשפתי לכמות גדולה של בלוגים בכלל ולבלוגים בנושא אופנה בפרט שנתנו  ועדיין נותנים לי המון השראה. בהמשך נחשפתי גם לגרעין קטן של בלוגים בארץ ובעקבות זאת החלטתי  לפתוח בלוג לעצמי.

- מי נותן לך השראה למלתחה שלך, ומדוע?

רוב ההשראה למלתחה שלי מגיעה מהשפעות של אופנת רחוב בחו"ל ומבלוגים מחו"ל אחריהם, אני עוקבת. בגדי יד שנייה ווינטאג' מעוררים בי המון השראה.  

- מה הם הבלוגים המעודפים עלייך?

הבלוגים המועדפים עליי שנותנים לי הכי הרבה השראה והם מודל עבורי הם:

יש עוד הרבה בלוגים שאני עוקבת אחריהם שלא קשורים לאופנה, אלה יותר ללייף סטייל ועיצוב ובכלל לכל מה שיפה ונותן לי השראה (אני בלוגרית שמכורה לבלוגים :-))

- אילו טריינדים עוררו אצלך השראה העונה?

אני חייבת לציין שאני לא מושפעת מטרנדים ולא עוקבת אחר טרנדים, אני לובשת מה שנוח לי בהם ויש בהם  אמירה אישית ומקום לביטוי. יש בחיי ובסביבתי הרבה השראה והיא לא קשורה בטרנדים ובכל זאת לשאלתך הדבר שאני הכי אוהבת העונה הזו הם גוונים של חרדל שבעבר לא נהגתי ללבוש.   

  

- איפה את הכי אוהבת לעשות שופיינג?

אני אוהבת לקנות אונליין אך זה לא תמיד אפשרי, חנויות יד שניה ובשוק הוינטאג' בכיכר דיזינגוף, בחנויות בשוק הפשפשים וגם בזארה ובכל מקום שאני מוצאת  פריט שאני אוהבת. 

- מה הזיכרון הכי נחמד שיש לך בהקשר לבלוג שלך?

הבלוג הביא  לי הרבה דברים טובים כמו ההכרות איתך (The LeopardLegs :) ועם הבלוגרית אינה גוטמן (Modaland), הצטלמתי  איתכן להפקה של רוני קנטור למגזין דרד טי, נחשפתי בפעם הראשונה לתצוגת אופנה בשבוע האופנה של תל אביב ומידי פעם אני מקבלת באימייל הצעות מעניינות, כך שזה מאוד כיף ונותן לי את המוטיבציה להמשיך לעשות את מה שאני אוהבת, להישאר נאמנה לעצמי וליהנות מהעשייה כי ברגע שמפסיקים ליהנות  זה כבר לא שווה וצריך למצוא משהו אחר להינות ממנו, לדעתי :)

- תל-אביב מארחת את שבוע האופנה העולמי הראשון מזה 30 שנה, מה את חושבת על זה?

זו הייתה חוויה להיות נוכחת באירוע של שבוע האופנה ,אני חושבת שזה מבורך מאוד עבור המעצבים, ותעשיית האופנה בארץ.

- Tell us a bit about yourself 

In fact, I'm a computer geek that likes to dress up. A girl who lives in the city but really loves nature, tries to enjoy the simple stuff in life, and is looking for beauty in everything. 

- When and why did you initially decide to start a blog?

I created my blog an year and eight month ago. I was looking for a creative hobby, one that I could channel my creativity that didn't manifest until then. 

An year before I started my blog I have been exposed to a large amount of blogs, especially fashion blogs that gave me - still today -  me a lot of inspiration. later on I got to know some blogs in Israel and it gave me motivation to establish my own. 

- Who inspires your wardrobe and why?

Most of my wardrobe inspiration comes from street styling and blogs from abroad I'm following. Second hand and vintage clothes are a strong source of inspiration, too.

- What are your personal favorite blogs?

 Here are some of my favorite blogs, the ones that inspire me and are a model for me:

I'm following others blogs as well ,but they are not connected with fashion. They are more about lifestyle, design and in general all that is beautiful. I'm a blogger addicted to blogs : )

- Are there any trends you are particulary inspired by this season?

I have to say that I'm not really influence by any trends nor follow them. I wear what make me feel comfortable and that allows self-expression. I have many sources of inspiration around me and it's not connected to trends. But to answer your question, I love the mustard hue this season, which I never used to wear.

- Where are you favorite places to shop?

I love to buy online but it's not always possible. In addition, I'm shopping in second hand shops, at the vintage market in Dizengoff square, and also ZARA. Generally, I just shop in every place I find an item I like.

- What is your best memorie as a blogger?

Blogging brought me many good thing, like meeting you (The LeopardLegs :) and the blogger Ina Gutman (from Modaland). We went to a Roni Kantor photoshoot for the magazine Dreed*Tea. I also got invited to a fashion show for the first time in Tel Aviv fashion week, and once in a while a receive emails with interesting offers. All of it is very fun and it gives me motivation to continue doing what I love, to stay loyal to myself and enjoy doing so because the moment the fun stops, it's time to quit.

- Tel Aviv is hosting its first Fashion week in 30 years, What do you think about it?

 It was an experience to attend a fashion week event! I think it's a blessing - a great opportunity, for the designers and the fashion industry in the country.
